Welcome to Mercy Ships
Benin, West Africa, one of the world's poorest nations. It was still dark when doctors, nurses and other volunteers arrived for patient screening. Thousands of people were already waiting for their opportunity to experience hope and healing. People were quiet as they waited, knowing they would be seen by a Mercy Ships doctor or nurse. There was a sense of expectation and hope in people's eyes.
